We had a great time at Earth Day meeting new fans, listening to great musicians, and eating some delicious food! We ended our night with a stop at Orlando Brewing for a show and a newly minted improvised song.
Anthony kicked things off Saturday at 1pm at the Central Florida Earth Day acoustic stage, playing a folk-rock set including stripped down versions of Bridges and Winter War.
Hotel Hurry opened up on the main stage at 2pm with an improvised jam featuring Anthony on drums, Rinaldo on bass, and Chris on violin. After Tim returned victoriously from his quest for street parking, he jumped on the drum kit for the opening song, Jon.
After the Earth Day festivities ended, we hit the road to hang out at Orlando Brewing and take the beer tour (again) with some friends. Cherri Ryno joined us for an evening of rock and roll and played an incredible set!
Our Orlando Brewing set included Walk on the Sun, Stay Drunk, and a newly minted improvised song called String Change in A, after Anthony broke a string at the end of Live It On. Rumored video footage was taken, and we’re on a mission to track it down!
We’re taking a little break from playing shows so we can record some songs, but we’ll be back in full force at Folk Fest II on May 18, we hope to see you there!
